(the "Company") so for the e-foodie application ("e-foodie" or the "app") and the associated websites (www.efoodie.com and other Company websites, collectively the websites and the app are referred to as the "Service") we have developed this Privacy Policy that covers how we access, collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information. We collect information that can identify you such as your name and email address ("personal information") and other information that does not identify you. We collect this information through a website or a mobile application. By using the Service, you are authorizing us to gather, parse and retain data related to you and your use of the Service. Communications from the Site
We will occasionally send you information on special deals or promotions. You can sign up for these notices from us on the registration page or your services settings in the app. If you do not want to receive such notification from e-foodie, please disable your account and uninstall the app from your device.
Referral Service
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site or a special offer, we will ask you and access your contacts on your device for your friend’s name and email address. With any shared offer or invitation, we will automatically include with your message to your friend a one-time invitation to the Service. The Company may access this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at support@e-foodie.com to request that we remove this information from our database.
Customer Service and Service-related Announcements
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or posts in the app.
Service Providers
We use other third parties to provide hosting and data storage for the Service. These providers are required to protect personal information, but their policies and practices may differ slightly from our own. We encourage Business Partners to adopt and post privacy policies. However, their use of Personal Information obtained through e-foodie is governed by their privacy policies and is not subject to our control.
Profile
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and third-party sources to create a "profile" of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information, and your history through your application store, to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you.
We share your profile with other third parties for the purpose of providing individualized promotions and advertising on our Service that allow us to maintain the "no cost" nature of the Service. We allow these service providers, advertising companies, ad networks, and other third parties to display advertisements on our Service.
