We don't get too choked up very often, but the story behind Tuition Tacos had us reaching for a hanky. It's founder, Hector, received a 0.0 G.P.A. in both high school and community college. When he contemplated dropping out a professor handed him a crisp $100 bill to help him buy the book for the class and encouraged him to continue. He did - earning a bachelor's and a master's with top honors. Now he's paying it forward by helping students "one taco at a time" by feeding low-income students for free and encouraging them to stay in school. Tuition Tacos is one of the largest and most lauded taco caterers in the OC (and beyond). He's paying it forward once again with our e-foodie offer: Two Free Chicken Tacos - no strings attached.
