Whale Watching
Newport Landing Whale Watching, Balboa CA

  • While the name may imply food (hint: turkey), you can get a head start and run off that big Thanksgiving feast before a drop touches your lips. So, run the race before you stuff your face! The annual 10k race starts at 7am, while the 5k gets underway at 8:30am – then reward yourself with some stuffing and gravy. But before you do, lace up those running shoes and enjoy a scenic course that travels through Dana Point Harbor and Doheny State Beach. You can choose to pant or gobble gobble (but still shed the waddle) as you trot along for a good cause: the race benefits the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group.     The Science of Gingerbread

  • Deck the palm trees this holiday season at the annual Downtown Holiday Parade taking place along State Street in beautiful Santa Barbara.
